I got up this morning at 3:05 am after the Holy Spirit had been speaking to me for at least 15 minutes. I knew I was to journal after getting on my face to pray. It turned out when I came downstairs that the TV was on, but blank, so I switched it from DVD mode to regular TV mode. I then switched the channel to 70 (TBN) intending to turn it off.

Immediately I was captured by what was being said. The bishop was talking about getting into a rhythm of giving and receiving. I ended up watching TBN and taking notes for about 30 minutes.

Then I came to my desk to journal. As I flowed in the Holy Ghost typing feverishly, I was led to go to Journal777. There I discovered your beautiful, heart-touching, transparent comment above. I just want to say thank you for sowing into my life so generously. Thank you for taking the time to share your heart in your comment on my blog.

Isn’t it freeing to let go and let God pilot our ship? I mean, really let go. What joy we feel as we give up control and shift into the high gear of dependence. I too am learning this a little more each day. As Kay and I were reading in Genesis 22 this morning, it was at that moment that I witnessed my independence and desire to make things work out.

Later in the morning I had a conference call with my core team and a dear client. Anticipating that our client would not really come to our way of thinking; and then the call began. What I had not realized and what had led me to a restless night’s sleep was living in my own awareness. Then God took over. The call was a breeze and our client felt empowered in our shift in program design and roll-out. Now we’re off and running. It wasn’t me but our Lord that we allowed to guide our ship in thought, action and spirit; the veil was lifted.

Thank you for your transparency, encouragement and courage as together we begin anew in Jesus.
