Journaling And Blogging Are Closely Related
Wow! There are lots of exciting things happening and new opportunities are on the horizon.
This morning, I decided that I am going to share weekly updates on my journaling blog to help you move forward in sharing your “gift” or “blessing” with the world. God designed you for greatness. It’s time to manifest that. When you start to share your gift using Web 2.0 technologies (e.g. blog, Twitter, Facebook, etc), it’s like a dam breaks and God’s living waters are able to flow through you into other people’s lives. In the process, you are refreshed with new living waters from God yourself. You experience an explosion in creativity. Really!!!
What I’ve come to discover is that journaling and blogging are closely related. Both involve writing.
At a large business forum in late 2008, Tom Peters, best-selling author of In Search of Excellence, said, “My first post was in August of 2004. No single thing in the last 15 years professionally has been more important in my life than blogging. It has changed my life. It has changed my perspective. It has changed my intellectual outlook. It has changed my emotional outlook.”
Seth Godin, who was on stage with Tom, said, “Blogging is free; it doesn’t matter if anyone reads it. What matters is the humility that comes from writing it. What matters is the meta-cognition of thinking about what you’re going to say.”
According to Dr. Jerry Graham, who is one of the most avid readers I have ever known, Tom Peters and Seth Godin are “two of the greatest visionaries and thinkers of our day.”
OK, so how does this apply to you?
Well, first of all, on September 15, Jerry and I are offering a new 8-week Web 2.0 course called “Establish A POWERFUL Online Presence To Accelerate Your Business Or Ministry.” During that course, we are going to teach people how to harness the POWER of the Web to share their stories, products, and services with the WORLD. You could be one of those people. Check it out at see www.prospernow777.com/yes/.
We have seen an EXPLOSION IN CREATIVITY with people in our current Web 2.0 course. I’m blown away by all the fruit and how fast it’s manifesting.
Even if you don’t want to take our Web 2.0 course yourself or you can’t afford to take it at the present, you can still earn a 35% ($350) for each person you refer who signs up for the course. That’s not bad – making hundreds of dollars for each friend you bless. Becoming an affiliate is very easy. If interested, see http://peckwebs.com/affiliates/
What else is new?
Lots! I’ve been invited to go to Richmond Virginia tomorrow (Sept 1, 2009) to do two live presentations about “Establishing A POWERFUL Online Presence.” If you live near there and are interested in coming or know people who might be, see www.prospernow777.com/seminar/.
Jim Charapich, the President and CEO of the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce and one of our current Web 2.0 course participants, posted an article in today’s Culpeper Star Exponent newsaper promoting the upcoming Web 2.0 course. In his article, Jim wrote:
The Technology Council of the Culpeper Chamber of Commerce will also be offering a Web 2.0 online course thru one of our Chamber members. The course is an 8 week course offering an extensive understanding of this powerful marketing tool. Brick and Mortar businesses can extend their customer base globally by knowing the new tools of web 2.0. Go to the Chamber website for a link to the online course information. www.CulpeperChamber.com. The course begins on September 15th.
