Randy, the habit I want you to focus on in January is Journaling using “Yesterday… and Prayer Power” and “3 MIT’s (Most Important Tasks).” Every day I want you to take at least one action step toward your annual goal of selling one million copies of UNCOMMON Journaling for Breakthroughs. As Seth said, set a goal of selling 500 copies of UJFB in January. (2009-01-01)

REST: I went to bed at 8:50 pm after reading for 50 minutes and set my PDA alarm for 5:00 am. I slept like a baby. When my PDA alarm went off at 5:00 am, Maui woke up and Julia took her outside for a few minutes. Meanwhile, I listened to my scheduled iTunes playlist for Day #7, including “Panis Angelicus,” I AM -365 Names of God (God of Promise), Psalms 31-35, Christ Before Me, Proverbs 7, Acts 7, I Bless You, Chapter 7 of The Power of a Praying Husband, Chapter 7 of The Power of a Praying Parent, and Chapter 7 of The Power of a Praying Wife.

Then I came downstairs. Maui followed me, so I fed her. When she climbed the stairs, I went with her and sat on the floor with her until she fell back to sleep. Then I came downstairs and began my 2-way journaling.

My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the LORD with me, And let us exalt His name together. I sought the LORD, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears. They looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried out, and the LORD heard him, And saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them. Thank You LORD for the great favor upon my life. Thank You being my source for wisdom and understanding. Thank You that 2010 is a year of ACCESS. Thank You for the new doors you are opening for me.

Acts 7:48 “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: ‘Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the LORD, Or what is the place of My rest?’

Acts 7:59-60 And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
