Jesus, my prayer for this new year is simple. Help me to honor (pray to) you morning, noon, and night each day like Daniel did. Help me to abide in You in a deep and rich way daily that I might bear much fruit for the Kingdom and Your glory. Joseph, that is a wonderful prayer. That’s a great way to start off a new year. Be faithful (committed) to this new habit for the first 30 days (January) and that habit will become your routine. I have prepared you for an outstanding year in 2011.

Boy 2010 went by fast. It seemed like a big blur until I started to review highlights from my journal and post photos for the entire year at Flickr. Then I was able to appreciate how rich the year really was. Our family is SO BLESSED. And we are grateful for EVERY good gift that comes from above, from the Father of lights. This year, with our combined email lists, we are sending our special greeting to more than 2,000 people. We consider our family Christmas card one of the best gifts we can give to you because it’s the gift of ourselves, sharing our lives with you.

In his email to me dated December 15, Dr. Bruce Cook wrote “Be expecting a powerful surprise this week. Just remember, in business it’s not always about whether you know someone. Often it Is about value that was created, or trust that leads to action.” Yesterday (December 16), I received a special gift in the mail from Bruce – Sacred Time, Sacred Place: A Journal – by Patricia King. This morning after listening to my entire scheduled playlist for Day #17 on my iPod in bed, I came to my “Sacred Place” to journal using this gift from Bruce. Wow! What transpired was amazing. This is a GAMECHANGER in my life.

Joseph, thank you for setting aside this time early in the morning to meet with Me. I AM the way, the truth, and the life, not just one time, but every day, moment by moment. Seek Me and My counsel throughout the day. Fill yourself with My Word to BE transformed by the renewing of your mind. I AM love. Abide in Me and let My Words abide in you and My love will pour forth from you.

We have a living God, a speaking God! One who loves us, His children, and He particularly loves to speak to us! He can speak to any one of us who love Him. You might be thinking, “I read the Bible every day, so I’m hearing from the Lord every day.” While it’s good to read the Bible, the recorded Word of the Lord, which is the foundation of our Christian faith, it’s wonderful to also hear straight from the Lord …

Joseph, first of all, I want to say thank You for setting aside this time first thing in your morning for us to talk to BE with one another – unrushed, at peace, quiet. QUIET is your keyword for the day. It’s the keyword for the Media webinar today. You see Akiane is able to be extremely creative because she doesn’t have much of the noise (TV, radio, newspapers, and even books) that most other people do have. Noise is killing the culture. You must quiet your mind to hear clearly from Me. Not just once in a day, but morning, noon, and night. Meditate on Me and My Word 3x/day. Establish that habit. Force out everything else that won’t fit.

The Story Behind The Story is THE KEY to successful and highly prolific webinars. Everyone has a story. According to the TMCJ flash header, “Every person … every family … every community… every culture… every nation … needs THE STORY.” People can argue with your doctrine. People can argue with your religion and personal views. But no one can argue with your story.

This morning during one of my richest abiding times in weeks or months, the Holy Spirit serendipitously led me to a short recorded audio message about Transformation by Dr. Che Ahn. This resonated so favorably with my spirit, I felt compelled to share it.

In April 2009, my pastor Matt Gregory led our congregation at Soul Purpose Church through a 4 week teaching series called “One Month To Live.” In their excellent book by that title, Kerry and Chris Shook give simple homework assignments each day for 30 days. The Day #1 assignment was to right down 5 things you would do if you knew you only had 30 days to live.

The very first thing I wrote down was “Complete everything associated with my journaling e-book, including 1) Revise my free e-book, 2) Create 11 auto-responders, 3) Narrate book, 4) PRESS release. This will create substantial residual income for Julia and leave a tremendous legacy.”

While it took me about 10 months to finally set aside the time to complete this, I never forgot what I wrote in my journal. As a result, on February 1, 2010, I launched my 30 Days To Breakthrough free e-course. In my opinion, this will be the greatest legacy I ever leave.

My greatest legacy might well be my 30 Days To Breakthrough free e-course because it helps people breakthrough in different areas of their lives to experience God in extraordinary ways for extraordinary fruit. When this course was first launched in February 2010, Abigail Slocum was one of the first 90 people to sign up in the first month. However, she found herself distracted with life circumstances and never completed that to her satisfaction. So on June 1, 2010, Abigail decided to repeat the course, but his time she purposed to journal every day and to post her answers from the Lord publicly on her blog. And not surprisingly, major breakthroughs are happening, not just for her but for people in her sphere of influence.
