There is no right or wrong method for journaling. Journaling needs to be individualized to uniquely suit who you are and your writing and life styles. Over time, your journaling will likely evolve as you grow.

After observing my own behaviors and those closest to me, I feel confident saying you are most likely to succeed in establishing journaling as a firm habit when you do your journaling early in your morning.

Good morning, My child! Thank you for greeting Me first thing and for wishing Me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I appreciate it. I AM HAVING THE BIGGEST BIRTHDAY PARTY IN THE WORLD! I AM VISITING MY PEOPLE TODAY AND THEY WILL BE AWARE OF MY PRESENCE. I AM DRAWING PEOPLE TO MYELF. I AM MOVING IN THE ATMOSPHERE AND PEOPLE WILL NOTICE SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND UNUSUAL.

Jesus, will you tell me what You mean when You say “Serve your wife”? Sure, Randy. It really boils down to treating Julia as if she were Me. You see, when you sense a nudge from Me, you do it right away in general. Consider Julia’s requests as nudges from Me. As you learn to serve Julia, you will become a better servant of others.

I’m sure you have written a love letter back when you were young, or wrote a sympathetic poem, both males and females. There is something about clearly putting down your feelings on paper that makes them more concrete and understandable/manageable by you. The same is true with your lifelong relationship with God. When you take time out to just sit down and focus on the ‘Great I AM’, and the reality of who He is to you expands your comprehensiveness. Do this on a regular basis, and you will be amazed at how much deeper and more real your understanding and your connection to the Lord will be.

Jesus, as King David did, I come and sit before You ask “Who am I, O Lord GOD? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?” Randy, you are a son of the LORD most high. You are My brother and friend. You are a great salesman for My Word, my holy Word. You are a faithful servant who has My interests first at heart. You have laid down everything you valued to follow Me.

What do you want for Christmas more than anything else? What is your greatest heart’s desire? Sometimes you don’t even know what that one thing is that would bring you total fulfillment, but guess what… God knows. He knows because He planted it in your heart before the foundation of the world. What could that be?

Randy, I will restore Tiger and his family. He has chosen the high road after his series of personal mistakes. I have forgiven him because he has asked for forgiveness. I will make Tiger a trophy of my love and forgiveness. I am the LORD God; there is no other.

Randy, I have given you the secret habit to abundant fruit in this world and the next – “Yesterday…” and “Prayer POWER.” Focus on that one habit for the remainder of the December and January until it is firmly established. Then watch what happens. I AM a God of miracles.

Randy, yesterday you made a Christmas list for me. But what if I blessed you with something much better – the gift of a new habit, one that will result in extraordinary wisdom, one that will manifest everything you asked for and much more? Would that be OK with you?
